Hasanamba Devi from Karnataka

The Hasanamba Devi temple is open to devotees only for a few days in a year. The lamp lit in the garbhagriha (sanctum sanctorum of this temple) burns continuously for the entire year and even flowers in the garland worn on the idol of the Devi do not wither all the year round.

These miracles are announced by the local administration while advertising the only festival of the year taking place in the temple of Hasanamba Devi. The number of devotees coming to this festival is increasing every year. The temple of Hasanambadevi falls under the jurisdiction of the Government’s Charity Department.
