1. Properties and possible usage
This medicine rejuvenates the body; hence, it is called ‘Punarnava’ in Sanskrut. This medicine is sheeta (Cool) in nature and pacifies Pitta and Kapha. Although its usage is mentioned here, the treatment may differ according to the physical constitution, region, season and other ailments. Hence, take the medicine as advised by the doctor.

B. Swelling | Drink 1 spoon punarnava churna mixed in a small bowl of hot water, 3-4 times-a-day. Prepare a paste of punarnava churna in water, apply on the swelling & wash it after 1 hour with lukewarm water. | 7 days |
2. Note
For children in the age group of 3-7 years & 8-14 years, the dosage should be ¼ and ½ respectively of that specified above.
3. For better efficacy of powder
Avoid consuming eatables made from maida (refined wheat flour) and besan (Gram-flour) and avoid eating sour, salty, too oily or pungent preparations; Ice-cream, molasses, curds, paneer, cheese; stale-food, eating at an inappropriate time and in excess; going out in the Sun, staying awake at night.
