Do the reporters and editors feel that they have some duties towards their nation and Dharma ?

Do these reporters and editors of periodicals, who criticize and try to teach others, ever introspect and think about their duties towards nation and Dharma ? Or is it like the saying – ‘they do not practice what they preach’.
