Sacrificing for the mission of serving Hindu Dharma and ‘Hindu Rashtra’
is the Gurudakshina* expected by the Guru Principle as per the prevailing times
Guru Purnima is the day to express gratitude unto the Guru and resolve to sacrifice to spread the Guru’s mission. The comprehensive mission of the Guru is to serve Hindu Dharma. As per the prevailing times, the expansive mission of the Guru is the task of reinstating Dharma, or in other words, establishing the ‘Hindu Rashtra’. Many Saints who are authorities on Spirituality have performed this task. The Gurudakshina that the Guru Principle expects as per the times is to resolve on Guru Purnima to sacrifice the body, mind and wealth for the mission of serving Hindu Dharma and ‘Hindu Rashtra’ under the guidance of such Saints.
Hindu Dharma teaches how to sacrifice. Spiritual progress is impossible without sacrificing the body, mind and wealth, followed by everything else. Sacrifice of the body means physical service to the Nation & Dharma. Sacrifice of the mind means chanting God’s Name or contemplation on the mission of serving the Nation & Dharma. Sacrifice of wealth means offering wealth for this cause. This step-by-step sacrifice then prepares the mind to sacrifice everything one day. In today’s world, sacrificing everything means devoting one’s entire life to the mission of serving Hindu Dharma and ‘Hindu Rashtra’. I pray at the Holy feet of Shri Guru – ‘May the devout Hindus, seekers, and disciples gain wisdom to sacrifice according to their ability for the mission of serving Hindu Dharma and ‘Hindu Rashtra’, and thus progress spiritually !’
