The future mission of Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti in the context of so-called phoney hermits Sages, Saints and Gurus

Sanatan Sanstha has been providing guidance to Hindus through satsangs (spiritual meetings) and turning them towards spiritual practice. For the past 15 years Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has been uniting Hindus and pro-Hindu organisations for protection of the nation and Dharma. In future both, Sanatan Sanstha and the Samiti will also be carrying out mission against phoney Sages, Saints and Gurus. The reason for this is the present state of these so-called Sages, Saints and Gurus.

1. The prevailing state of phoney Sages, Saints and Gurus

1A. Ignorance

·         These fake Holy men neither have spiritual knowledge nor have a learning attitude. Hence their knowledge is very limited. Consequently there is nothing significant that is narrated during their guidance sessions and therefore their devotees also don’t record any points.

·         Spirituality is a subtle subject, beyond the five senses, mind and intellect but the sad part is that the phoney Holy men have no ability to comprehend anything in the subtle dimension.

1B. Ego

They feel that they know everything and can solve all problems. Can one with such a high ego be close to God ? Due to the intense devotion of a seeker, Deities assume the forms of Sages and Saints and impart him the spiritual experiences. Despite this being so, due to the high ego, the so-called Holy men proclaim that the seeker obtained spiritual experiences because of them and also force the seeker tell this to others.

1C Names of the so-called Holy men

Most of the so-called Holy men assume names such as Brahmanand, Nityanand, Parmanand, Turiyanand, 108 Shri Shri etc.  However these names do not suit to their personalities, because they have not obtained any spiritual experiences to match such names. Just as children are named Shrikushna, Ram, Lakshmi, Parvati etc. so also the so-called Holy men have meaningless names, but since devotees do not realise this aspect, they get carried away with their name and presume that they are spiritually superior.

1D. The beard, moustache and saffron robes of the so-called Holy men

As a result this external appearance, several devotees get attracted to them and get cheated.

1E. Behaviour devoid of unconditional love towards devotees

God, due to His unconditional love, treats devotees as His children rather than subjects. The most important virtue of God that of unconditional love, is missing in these so-called Holy men. Hence they are actually distanced from God. In such a scenario will they be able to uplift their devotees ?

1F. Improper guidance

Instead of considering whether their sectarian spiritual practice would be useful to the one seeking their advice, the so-called Holy men impart theoretical information pertaining to their sect to him. Also they do not get the practical aspect of spiritual practice performed from their devotees. Consequently both, the spiritual practice and the valuable years of life of devotees are wasted.

2. Outcome of their activities

Due to the above shortcomings, the outcome of the so-called Holy men and their sessions is nil.

3. Effects

A. Because of these so-called Holy men, the state of Hindus heading towards an unfathomable spiritual downfall.

B. Real Hindu Sages and Saints and the Hindu Dharma are being defamed.

4. How to identify the so-called Holy men ?

We do not need to seek help from Saints. They help on Their own. As against this, the so-called Holy men help people to some extent only if their ego is pampered.

5. Solution

5A. Theoretical

In the Hindu nation only real Saints will have the privilege of being referred to as Maharaj, Swami etc. In order to avail this title, the so-called Holy men will have to perform spiritual practice and attain the required spiritual level.

5B. Direct action

To be able to achieve the goal, the followers of Dharma should observe and study such so-called Holy men from all places and inform their names and shortcomings to Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. Let us do what the rationalists could not achieve, due to their lack of knowledge in the subject and lack of spiritual practice !
