Mission of journalism through Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’

A. Founder-Editor of Sanatan Prabhat

To propagate the message of establishing the ‘Hindu Nation’, Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale launched the ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ Periodicals in 1998. With inspiration through this Periodical, which provides perspectives in the interest of the society, Nation and Dharma, many people have begun protecting the Nation and Dharma and commenced spiritual practice. The Sanatan Prabhat Group of Periodicals, which have Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale as their Founder-Editor, is now publishing a Marathi Daily (4 Editions – Mumbai, Goa, Ratnagiri and Western Maharashtra), a Weekly (in Marathi and Kannada), a Fortnightly (in Hindi and English) and a Monthly (in Gujarati), despite financial losses.

When Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale was the editor of Sanatan Prabhat, from the first issue itself He developed a novel method of providing editor’s comments to news based on various events taking place in the world, society, Nation and Dharma in the interests of the society, Nation and Dharma. Therefore, Sanatan Prabhat, which provides editor’s comments with news, has become distinctive in the world.

F. The founder of ‘Hindu news’ on the internet

Since the existing news channels do not broadcast the injustice meted to and atrocities committed on Hindus, the common Hindu is ignorant about the dangers his religion is facing. Realising this, Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale put forth the concept of broadcasting news (taken from the Sanatan Prabhat) in an audio-visual format on the internet. This campaign, which continued for 13 months from 29.12.2014 to 29.1.2016, laid the foundation for a ‘Hindu News’ channel. For appropriate messages to reach the people, He used to look at the ‘Hindu News’ Himself before the programme was uploaded on the internet, and recommend necessary changes. Once the ‘Hindu News’ obtains the required equipment and manpower, this campaign will transform into a news channel.
