Why take efforts to obtain Guru’s grace ?

Complete faith in the Guru is essential to obtain the Guru’s grace !

1. If a seeker has complete faith and devotion unto the Holy feet of Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale (the Guru or Spiritual master), everything is possible merely by His presence.

2. The journey in Spirituality is like walking on the edge of a sharp sword. Therefore, the guidance of the Guru is essential.

3. There is no knowledge without the Guru, no Shanti (Peace) without knowledge and no Anand (Bliss) without Shanti.

4. The demerits incurred by insulting or criticising the Guru cannot be eliminated even by God.

5. More we serve the Guru, more will be the Chaitanya (Divine consciousness) we obtain.

6. Every word uttered by the Guru has the power to emancipate the entire human race.

7. When we surrender to God, He provides us with wealth and prosperity; however, when we surrender to the Guru, He helps us realise God.

8. The Holy feet of the Guru are the wish-fulfilling jewels that fulfill every resolve.

9. Parents give us only food, but the Guru gives us knowledge that emancipates us.

10. Just a glance by the Guru washes away our infinite demerits and showers us with infinite blessings.

11. To drink nectar in the form of God, you need a vessel in the form of the Guru.

12. The wealth in the form of the Holy feet of the Guru is more precious than any other wealth.

13. The Guru dispels ignorance of a disciple and enlightens him.

14. Obeying the Guru is the supreme service of the Guru.

15. Due to Guru’s grace, even an ignorant individual gets emancipated.

16. The birth given by the mother may go waste, but the knowledge imparted by the Guru never goes waste.

17. If you do not know the real meaning of the Guru, then all chanting, penance, vowed observances, pilgrimages, Yoga and sacrifices are meaningless.

18. If we have faith in God and devotion unto the Guru, we will never be defeated.

19. By the Guru’s grace, we are able to find the Path that leads to God-realisation.

20. The Guru should be served without expecting any fame, publicity, power or wealth.

21. Only the Guru can change our destiny.

22. Since the Guru is an Incarnation of God, every word He utters is directly the word of God.

23. The knowledge that can be acquired after performing many years of spiritual practice can be obtained through the mere glance of the Guru.

24. Unless you serve the Guru you cannot obtain His grace.

25. No position or God is higher than the Guru.

26. Only those who chant the Gurumantra can progress spiritually.

27. Due to the Guru’s grace, not only spiritual but also worldly benefits are obtained.

28. The biggest wealth in the world one can acquire is the Guru.

29. Even God’s blessings are not obtained without Guru’s grace.

30. Only one who has complete faith in Guru’s words can progress spiritually fearlessly.

31. We cannot compare anything in the world with the spiritual love that exists between the Guru and the disciple.

If an individual has yearning, then Guru’s grace can be automatically obtained. The Guru does not have to make any efforts for it. Only complete faith is essential. Only the Guru prepares him for it.
