Karnavati (Gujarat) – On the occasion of the 93rd birth anniversary of the 2nd founder of the ‘Purva Shankaracharya Shri Bharatmata Mandir, Haridwar’, Parampujya Brahmaleen Padmashri Swami Shri Sathyamitranand Giriji Maharaj, a Parampujya Valmiki Sant Samelan was recently organised by the ‘Samanvay Parivar, Gujarat’. During the ceremony, Sanatan Sanstha was honoured for its commendable work of Dharmaprasar. The recognition was conferred by Gujarat’s Chief Minister Shri. Bhupendrabhai Patel. Sanatan Sanstha’s seeker Shri. Chandrasekhar Kadrekar from Gujarat accepted the honour on behalf of the organisation. He was presented with a shawl and certificate from the Chief Minister.
At the meeting, charitable organisations dedicated to serving the country through spirituality, religion, and national service were honoured. Saints and dignitaries also provided guidance on the importance of nation and religion. The event began with the lighting of the lamp by saints and guests, accompanied by devotional chanting. Following this, Gujarat’s Chief Minister, Shri. Bhupendrabhai Patel, recognized organisations committed to working for the nation and religion. In his address as the chief guest, Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel stated, “Awakening religious consciousness and building the nation can only be achieved through the timeless teachings of saints and sages. With their blessings, India will emerge as a developed nation driven by the power of Dharma.”
Parampujya Shri. Balayogi Maharaj, while offering guidance during the event, emphasized, “Spiritual power will uplift the nation, and India will attain the status of Vishwaguru. Therefore, along with practicing our faith, we must also serve the nation.” The event was graced by several prominent figures, including Balayogi Umesh Nathji Maharaj (Chairman of Shri Kshetra Valmiki Dham, Ujjain, and Member of Rajya Sabha), Parampujya Shri. Nikhileshwaranandji Maharaj (President of Shri Ramakrishna Ashram, Rajkot), Dr. Jayantibhai Bhadeshiya (from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh), Shri. Ashvinbhai Jani (Gayatri Parivar), MLA Smt. Darshanaben Vaghela, and 161 saints from the Valmiki Samaj Gujarat.
