Sachchidanand Parabrahman (Dr) Jayant Athavale’s Janmotsav celebrated in the presence of 10,000+ seekers in a bhav-enriched atmosphere !
Ponda – Sanatan Sanstha’s founder Sachchidanand Parabrahman (Dr) Jayant Balaji Athavale’s 81st birth anniversary was celebrated as ‘Brahmotsav’ as directed by Saptarshis through the Nadi Patikas. In the presence of 10,000+ seekers from the states of Goa, Maharashtra and Karnataka, the celebration took place in a highly devotional atmosphere. The Brahmotsav was organised on a big scale at the Goa College of Engineering ground at Farmagudi, Goa.
The procession of Deity Shri Tirupati Balaji is carried in a golden chariot by Shri Balaji Temple committee at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. It is known as Brahmotsav. On similar lines, the procession of Sachchidanand Parabrahman (Dr) Jayant Athavale was carried in a golden coloured chariot made from teakwood.
This ceremony was attended by His Holiness Pradeep Khemka and Her Holiness (Mrs) Sunita Khemka from Jharkhand, His Holiness Sanjeev Kumar from Delhi, Mr Ravindra Prabhudesai of Pitambari group and a devout Hindu advocate from Karnataka Adv. Krishnamurthy. All of them expressed their views. Eminent personalities such as Goa’s Sanghachalak of RSS Mr Rajan Bhobe, President of Sri Mahalasa temple committee at Mardol Mr Premanand Kamat, Director of Gomantak Sant Mandal H.B.P. Suhas Vaze, President of Gomantak Mandir Mahasangh Mr Bhai Pandit and Konkani author Mr Mahesh Parkar were also present for the celebration.
At the beginning, a short film on Sachchidanand Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale’s birth anniversary celebrations of the year 2021 was shown. Then the Rath Yatra followed. In this procession a seeker carried the Dharmadhwaj, then there were the Suhasinis (married women) carrying mangalkalash, then seekers carrying saffron flag, female seekers playing the musical instrument taal marched to the tunes of devotional songs. Then followed the Suvarna-Rath wherein Sachchidanand Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale accompanied by his spiritual heirs Shri Satshakti (Mrs.) Binda Singbal and Shri Chitshakti (Mrs.) Anjali Gadgil were seated. On this occasion, Sanatan’s lady-seekers troupe performed a dance based on Achyutashtakam, then seekers from Music section sung the song Atmarama Anandaramana, followed by a sitar performance. The program concluded with a vote of thanks and Ratha-darshan.
On the occasion of Sachchidanand Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale’s birth anniversary, the ‘Hindu Rashtra Jagruti Abhiyan’ was conducted across the country by Sanatan Sanstha from past two months i.e. April and May. As part of this Abhiyan (programme), cleanliness drive was conducted in many ancient temples, mass prayers for establishment of ‘Hindu Rashtra’ were organized in hundreds of temples, discourses and Hindu Ekta Dindi have been held at many places. Thousands of Hindus have participated in all these activities.
