Scientific testing done with the help of the Universal Aura Scanner (U.A.S.) by the ‘Maharishi Adhyatma Vishvavidyalaya’
‘On Bhadrapad Chaturthi (the fourth day of the bright fortnight of the Hindu lunar month Bhadrapad), Ganapati idols are made of soft clay. As per the rituals prescribed by the scriptures, the idol is supposed to be placed on the left hand, consecrated and worshiped in the name of ‘Siddhivinayak’, and then immediately immersed in the water.
However, since humans love celebrations, they were not satisfied with just this; therefore, the norm of installing Shri Ganapati idol for one and a half, five, seven or ten days and celebrating Shri Ganesh festival became customary’, as mentioned in the book ‘Shastra Ase Saangte’.
To study if, ‘Any changes occur at the spiritual level in the idol of Shri Ganesh consecrated on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi, in the subsequent days?’, in a scientific manner, ‘Maharishi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalaya’ conducted a test on the Shri Ganesh idol worshiped at the residence of Sanatan Sanstha’s seeker from Madkai, Goa, Shri Umesh Naik for the five days. Experiment was conducted on the idol every day from 13.9.2018 (Ganesh Chaturthi) to 17.9.2018 (fifth Day).
The device ‘Universal Aura Scanner (UAS)’ was used for this test. The nature of this test, the records of the readings captured and their details are given ahead.
1. Nature of the test
In this test, the readings taken by ‘UAS’ device before and after the worship of the Shri Ganesh idol brought to the seeker’s house on 13.9.2018 (Ganesh Chaturthi) were recorded. Thereafter, every day till 16.9.2018, before and after the puja of the idol, and on 17.9.2018, before and after the concluding uttarpuja, readings taken by ‘UAS’ device were recorded. A comparative study was made of all the readings taken.
Note to Readers : Due to lack of space, greater details regarding, ‘introduction to UAS equipment’, ‘ the technique of using it, the readings taken and their analysis’, ‘how to measure auras’, ‘precautions to be taken to ensure accuracy of readings during the testing’ are available on the link https://www.sanatan.org/mr/universal-scanner
2. Readings taken during the experiment and their analysis
2A. Analysis of the readings taken in the context of negative energy
2A1. Complete absence of negative energy in the Ganesh idol
Negative energies in the form of infrared or ultraviolet rays were not found in the Ganesh idol during any of the days when the readings were taken.
2B Analysis of readings taken in the context of positive energy
2B1. Daily change in the aura of the positive energy of Ganesh idol worshiped for five days
Not all people, premises or objects possess positive energy. When the Ganesh idol was brought home, even before its consecration it had positive energy. This was evident from the 180-degree angle formed by the arms of the ‘UA’ scanner during the experiment. Therefore, the aura of the positive energy of the idol could also be measured. Daily reading of the aura of the positive energy of the Ganesh idol worshiped for five days is given in the following table.
Readings of the Ganesh idol worshipped for five days during Shri Ganesh festival | Aura of the positive energy (meters) | |
---|---|---|
Before worship | After worship | |
1. 13.09.2018 (First day) | 1.70 | 2.06 |
2. 14.09.2018 (Second day) | 3.05 | 4.18 |
3. 15.09.2018 (Third day) | 2.50 | 3.20 |
4. 16.09.2018 (Fourth day) | 2.04 | 2.47 |
5. 17.09.2018 (Fifth day) | 1.58 | 2.35 |
From the above table following points are observed.
A. After the worship of the Ganesh idol, the aura of the positive energy in it increased.
B. On the second day, the aura of positive energy of Ganesh idol was at its peak and after that it decreased day by day.
2E. Analysis of readings recorded in the context of the overall aura
2E1. Daily change in the overall aura of the Ganesh idol worshiped for five days
Aura of a common human being or an ordinary object is about 1 meter. Daily reading of the overall aura of the Ganesh idol worshiped for five days is given in the following table.
Readings of the Ganesh idol worshipped for five days during Shri Ganesh festival | Overall aura (meters) | |
---|---|---|
Before worship | After worship | |
1. 13.09.2018 (First day) | 2.15 | 3.41 |
2. 14.09.2018 (Second day) | 4.18 | 4.90 |
3. 15.09.2018 (Third day) | 2.84 | 4.74 |
4. 16.09.2018 (Fourth day) | 2.25 | 2.92 |
5. 17.09.2018 (Fifth day) | 1.87 | 2.87 |
From the above table the following points are observed.
A. After the worship of Ganesh idol, its overall aura increased.
B. The overall aura of the Ganesh idol was highest on the second day and thereafter it decreased day by day.
Spiritual analysis of all the above points is given in ‘Point 3’.
3. Spiritual analysis of the readings recorded
3A. The idol of Shri Ganesh having sattvik form of Shri Ganesh and being made of clay, did not possess any negative energy, but rather had positive energy even before its worship
As per one Principle in Spirituality, word, touch, form, taste, fragrance and its associated energy co-exist. Accordingly, wherever there is a ‘form’ (idol) of Shri Ganesh, there His associated energies, i.e., frequencies also co-exist. The Ganesh idol used in the experiment was sattvik as it had appropriate form and size as prescribed by the scriptures and was made of soft clay. Frequencies of Shri Ganesh Principle get attracted to such idols. Therefore, no negative energy was found in the idol even before it’s worship. On the contrary, only positive energy was found in the idol.
3B. Frequencies of Shri Ganesh Principle get attracted to the idol of Shri Ganesh post worship, resulting in increase of positive energy and overall aura of the idol
According to the doctrine in spirituality, ‘Where there is a form of God, its associated energy also coexists.’. Since the idol of Shri Ganesh was worshipped daily, the frequencies of Shri Ganesh Principle got attracted to the idol. Therefore, after worshiping the idol every day, it was found that the aura of the positive energy of the idol and its overall aura increased after the worship.
3C. The divinity in the Ganesh idol remains for a single day after it’s consecration
The divinity activated in the consecrated idol of Shri Ganesh made of soft clay lasts only for one day. This means that even if the Ganesh idol is immersed on any day, the divinity in the idol gets destroyed on the next day. Therefore, it is always beneficial to immerse the idol on the same day or on the next day.(Reference : ‘Dharma says so’, pages 115-116)
The above tenet was also confirmed by the experiment. On each subsequent day after the second day, there was a progressive decrease in the aura of the positive energy and the overall aura of the idol.
3D. Divine consciousness in the idol of Shri Ganesh prevailing for 21 days due to the divinity activated in the idol
As per the point 3C above, the divinity activated in a consecrated idol does not last more than a day. If this is the case, how can the devotees get the benefit of worshiping the idol of Ganesh, which is worshiped for more than one day during Ganeshotsav? This question can arise in anyone’s mind. The answer to this is – ‘Though the divinity in the idol gets destroyed, because of the divinity, the divine consciousness remains in the idol for 21 days. Also, since the idol is worshiped daily during Ganeshotsav, the divine consciousness (positive energy) in the idol can increase after the worship as per the spiritual emotion of devotion of the worshiper. After 21 days, the divine consciousness in the idol starts to decrease gradually. (Reference : Sanatan Sanstha publication ‘Shri Ganapati’)
