The mission taken up by Sanatan Sanstha’s founder Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale for reinstating Sanatan Dharma and establishing it in the entire world is spreading across the entire world. By the grace of God, many Saints have shouldered important responsibilities or have guided Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale. We express gratitude unto all of them through this article.
1. Different Saints who taught spiritual science
to Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale
before and after He met His Guru
1A. H.H. Nana Datey, Malad, Mumbai
In 1984 after developing an interest in Spirituality, for a year, H.H. Nana taught me both the theoretical and practical aspects of Spirituality.
1B. Shri Malangshahbaba, Mumbai
In 1985 Shri Malangshahbaba taught me the practical aspects of negative energies viz. ghosts, black magic, subtle bodies of deceased ancestors, etc.
(At that time, to introduce society to the extraordinary spiritual mission of Shri Malangshahbaba and to increase faith of His devotees in him, I had compiled his biography. – [Paratpar Guru[ Dr Athavale)
1C. Swami Vidyanand, Aghori Sect, Mumbai
From 1986 to 1987 Swami Vidyanand would visit me at home and teach how to present Spirituality scientifically.
1D. H.H. Anna Karandikar, Dahanu, Thane
In 1987 H.H. Anna Karandikar taught me the theoretical and practical aspects of Spirituality. He would say, ‘In Spirituality each aspect has to be experienced personally’. It is He who took me to the Holy feet of Saint Bhaktaraj Maharaj.
1E. H.H. Kane Maharaj, Narayangaon, Pune
From 1989 to 1993 H.H. Kane Maharaj taught me a lot of theoretical knowledge on Spirituality. It is included in Sanatan’s Spiritual texts.’ – (Paratpar Guru) Dr Athavale
2. Various Saints guided Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale
on Spirituality after His Guru renounced His body
2A. H.H. Ramanand Maharaj (The spiritual heir of H.H. Bhaktaraj Maharaj), Indore, Madhya Pradesh
‘The spiritual heir of H.H. Bhaktaraj Maharaj, H.H. Ramanand Maharaj (Indore, Madhya Pradesh) also occupies the seat of Guru in my life. Often His casual conversations with me would be like a blessing and would teach me something. As H.H. Ramanand Maharaj was formerly a volunteer of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), He would also guide me about the mission of serving Rashtra and Dharma. Given ahead is one example of this.
2A 1. H.H. Ramanand Maharaj advising me to view my individual distress with the stance of a spectator and the samashti mission with the sentiment that ‘whatever I see (incomplete task) is my duty (to complete)’
On 27.10.2011 while speaking to H.H. Ramanand Maharaj I said, “I am exhausted now and feel like going to the Holy feet of Baba (H.H. Bhaktaraj Maharaj) (renouncing the body).” In response He said, “I too have many physical problems, feel exhausted, but we should see that with an observer stance.” In reply I said that now onwards, I will look at this distress and the mission of serving Rashtra and Dharma with observer stance. In response He said, “A great part of your mission is still incomplete. So now you should not think of going to Maharaj.” From this I learnt that individual distress should be viewed with an observance stance and the mission unto society as ‘whatever I see is my duty’. – (Paratpar Guru) Dr Athavale (28.10.2011)
2B. H.H. Gagangiri Maharaj, Khopoli, Raigad District
‘H.H. Gagangiri Maharaj had immense love for me as well as Sanatan’s seekers. He renounced His body on 4.2.2008. He would always advise remedies to overcome my negative energy distress. In the context of the samashti mission of serving the Rashtra and Dharma, He gave suggestions such as, ‘increase your mission in the coastal belt for protection from extremists’. He would always say that ‘the spiritual prowess required for the mission will be provided by my disciples’. I am experiencing His words today. Many of His disciples such as H.H. Abanand Maharaj, H.H. Ulhasgiri Maharaj etc. are helping ‘Sanatan Sanstha’ – (Paratpar Guru) Dr Athavale
2B 1. In 2001 H.H. Gagangiri Maharaj asking His devotees in Kolhapur, Maharashtra to attend the satsangs of Sanatan Sanstha
While guiding His devotees in Kolhapur, H.H. Gagangiri Maharaj said, “Satsangs are being conducted all over by the Sanatan Sanstha founded by Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale. You should attend them. Even if I do meet you here it is for a short while and it is insufficient for complete guidance. You will receive appropriate guidance through the satsangs. You should learn Spirituality stepwise over there. In the satsangs conducted by Sanatan you will be taught about our culture. It will help you to learn about Dharma. If we protect Dharma then in turn Dharma will protect us ! Each one of you spends your money to come here, so you should leave with virtues imbued in you. Sanatan’s satang will guide you on how to imbibe virtues. Hence, you should attend these satsangs wherever they are conducted You need not spend money to learn from Sanatan’s satsang or to imbibe a virtue either. However, make sure you learn from the satsang first !” (Year 2001)
2C. H.H. Dada Maharaj Zurale, Dombivali, District Thane
‘In 1983 after developing an interest in Spirituality I would visit various Saints to learn Spirituality. One of them was H.H. Dada Maharaj Zurale. I used to address him as Dada. I visited Dada once a week for nearly a year to learn Spirituality. His style of teaching Spirituality was unique. He would explain the concepts with examples, in simple language. I am yet to meet another Saint who presents Spirituality in this way. Dada’s speech was enriched with motherly love.
2D. H.H. Bejan Desai, Nashik, Maharashtra
2D 1. H.H. Bejan Desai writing encouraging remarks while proofreading 10 Spiritual texts on various topics on Spirituality compiled by Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale
‘After Saint Bhaktaraj Maharaj renounced His body, I began considering H.H. Desai in His place. He would very lovingly guide me time and again about spiritual practice. Along with my wife, Mrs Kunda, we would respectfully offer the Spiritual texts we had compiled to Him. He went through them and inform that if translated into English then He would proof read them personally to weed out any translation or grammatical errors. Of our 10 Spiritual texts on different subjects in Spirituality H.H. Desai read every sentence and like a good teacher corrected the mistakes. He wrote remarks such as good, very good, excellent etc. in the margin thus encouraging us. Despite His extremely busy schedule, poor health and cataract affliction He read our newly translated Spiritual texts and guided us verbally or other means. In all the Spiritual texts published earlier it is He who has written the introduction of the compilers.’ – (Paratpar Guru) Dr Jayant Athavale

Wadala Mahadeo, Nagar District, Maharashtra
Gurudev Dr Kateswamiji of Wadala Mahadeo (Nagar District) is one of the few Saints who talked about the greatness of the Hindu Dharma and wrote in the interest of protection of Dharma, till the last breath ! He has gifted Sanatan His treasure of radiant writings on the Rashtra and Dharma enriched with the power of His austerities. These writings will serve as an ideal for several future generations.’ – (Paratpar Guru) Dr Jayant Athavale (10.6.2012)

When I began halting at H.H. Bhau’s lodge I was able to learn Numerology from Him. I was blessed with the opportunity to learn Numerology from Bhau on 5 to 6 occasions. His letter is reproduced here.
Tapodham, Ratnagiri
To
Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale,
The organization that You have founded is a fierce movement. This will elevate the Hindu society, which is extremely essential. I have put forward each and every topic of this movement before the society through kirtans and lectures. I have awakened the people by making them aware of problems of our Rashtra and Dharma. We have had good and bad experiences. Who would support lone fighters like us in our mission ? I would join this movement of Yours, so that I shall get satisfaction that I dedicated my life for the Rashtra and Dharma. After finishing my task at Tapodham, I shall fulfil any responsibility that You would put on my shoulders. In fact I shall consider that responsibility as a personal mission. – H.B.P. Narendrabuva Hate, Ratnagiri, Maharashtra (2002 )
(Before his death on 19.07.2004, Dharmadas Narendrabuva Haate, Ratnagiri gave the responsibility of managing the 22 acre land of kirtanashala owned by his ‘Sanatan Dharma Seva Sangh’ trust to Sanatan Sanstha so that this land would become available for Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale’s mission of serving Dharma. That is how he remained a part of Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale’s mission of serving Dharma even after death. – Editor)
7. The self motivated Saints’ helping
the Paratpar Guru (Dr) Athavale’s mission
shows the unconditional Priti of Saints
Some examples are given below
1. Gurudev Dr Kateswamiji and Yogatadnya Dadaji Vaishampayan were working to eliminate the distress due to negative energies of Sanatan’s seekers even before they met them.
2. One Saint regularly performs Yajna and other religious rituals regularly to help Sanatan; however, He has instructed not to give any publicity to the help He gives.
3. Saints have to face distress after performing rituals to eliminate negative energy distress of the seekers; yet, they perform the rituals consistently.
4. For Saints subjects related to Rashtra and Dharma is also Maya (The great Illusion); yet, they help Sanatan in its mission.
The greatness of Saints who work unconditionally, at their own expense, with self-motivation, and bearing many distresses, can be realised from these examples. Saint’s chanting Deity’s Name once is equivalent to a seeker chanting around ten thousand times. Saints chant Name of God millions of times only so that we remain alive. Will any family member do this for us? Only Saints shower true love!
