Award from Smruti Sadhana a social organisation from Bengaluru
Pune – Humanity is still alive due to the three virtues of co-ordination, understanding and sensitiveness. Due to these very virtues several social workers rendered selfless service against the Corona virus creating havoc worldwide. A social organisation ‘Smruti Sadhana’ from Bengaluru felicitated such people with the award of ‘corona warrior’. During the lockdown period Dr. Deepak Joshi from Sanatan Panvel performed the service of counselling patients, reassuring them, giving their life a direction by advising them spiritual practice and other special efforts for which he received this award. He is one out of 40 felicitated with a memento and certificate.
This function was held at the Patrakar Bhavan in the new market of Pune with social worker Renutai Gavaskar, President of the Sajag Nagrik Manch, RTI volunteer Vivek Velankar, Director of Dene community Veena Gokhale and founder of Smruti Sadhana Shivakumar Ojha, as dignitaries on the dais.
Among those felicitated were different allopathic physicians who have volunteered as subjects for research study of the Corona vaccine, common citizens serving corona patients and those supplying milk, vegetables, medicines and essential commodities to the poor during lockdown, as individuals or through social organisations. Ashwini Kulkarni, Avantika Hiremath, Shilpa Deshpande and other members of Smruti Sadhana took painstaking efforts to make this event a success.
“Serving patients in the Corona pandemic, giving them moral support was possible only with the grace of Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale. Practising Spirituality alone keeps man happy and stable in any situation.”
