Enthusiastic response by the curious to the collective chanting organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Sanatan Sanstha

Panaji – An online collective chanting programme recently organised on the occasion of Datta Jayanti by the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Sanatan Sanstha received a tremendous response from the society.

At the start of the programme, Miss Sangeeta Naik of sanatan sanstha explained the importance of the spiritual discourse on the chanting. Later Mrs. Aarya Gaonkar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti explained the features of Datta Jayanti and made everyone do a collective prayer and collective chanting of ‘Shri Gurudev Datta’. Those who were present said that they got the spiritual experience of increase in the faith and spiritual emotion unto God, concentration of mind, experience of pure bliss etc, during the collective chanting session. The programme was attended by 150 people.

Highlights

1. The spiritual discourse was to start at 7.00 PM in the evening; but before the actual start of the programme, more than 10 of the curious attendees, did a collective chanting along with the family members at home at 6.45 PM till the start of the programme.

2. One of the attendee’s father expired 8 days back, but still this person attended the chanting discourse with the spiritual emotion/faith (bhav) that he is getting a chance to do the chanting of Shri Gurudev Datta. The person asked his family members too, to do the chanting.

3. Sanatan produced audio of Shri Guru Dev Datta chant was played in the spiritual discourse so as to make the collective chanting more scientific and in tune. Many attendees got the experience that the environment in the spiritual discourse became more Sattvik and the Datta Principle too was active in the discourse due to playing of the audio during collective chanting.
