Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) – Sanatan Sanstha National Spokesperson Mr. Chetan Rajhans when speaking during an online conversation with journalists on July 25, 2020 – on behalf of Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti on the topic of ‘Growing stress in journalists in the present scenario and solutions to it’ he appealed ‘that since journalists are directly linked with the nation, they have a major responsibility towards society and the nation. Due to the tense situation created in society by the Corona pandemic reporters are facing both economic and psychological stress. Remaining in communion with God awakens inner strength, makes the mind optimistic and relieves stress. Awakening spiritual strength through this fourth pillar of democracy they should contribute towards building of a new Bharat.’ Reporters and editors of periodicals from Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal and Chattisgarh were participants.
Points put forth by Mr. Chetan Rajhans
1. The mind accepts a favourable situation at once unlike an unfavourable one. How an individual views a stressful situation depends upon his virtues and personality defects
2. One can get out of a stressful situation by taking autosuggestions. But for that one needs to become aware of one’s personality defects.
3. Physical illnesses such as high blood pressure, hyperacidity, insomnia and mental illnesses such as depression are a consequence of personality defects. One can overcome these through autosuggestions.
By performing spiritual remedies such as chanting along with autosuggestions one is showered with the grace of God. In a crisis only the grace of God is of significance. Remembering God generates positive energy and gets one out of the crisis.
