Ramnathi (Goa) – Shri Ganapati, the remover of obstacles, the endower of intellect, is the primary deity worshiped by any devotee. Converting language of sound (nadabhasha) to language of light (prakashbhasha) He delivers the prayer of a devotee to the respective Deity and is worshiped all over the world. Answering the prayers of Sanatan Sanstha seekers to establish a Hindu nation on the earth, many Deities are visiting the Ramnathi ashram to give their blessings. Now to remove obstacles in establishing a Hindu nation, the remover of obstacles, Shri Siddhivinayak along with Riddhi and Siddhi has come to the Sanatan ashram. Based on the guidance by Saptarshi through H.H. (Dr.) Om Ulagnathan this idol was brought to the Ramnathi ashram in a procession on the auspicious day of Mahashivaratri, February 21, 2020.
Special features of this idol of Shri Siddhvinayakwith Riddhi and Siddhi
This idol of Shri Siddhivinayak with Riddhi and Siddhi weighs 500 kilograms and has been sculpted from ‘Krushnashila’ stone. It has been sculpted as instructed by the Saptarishis (the seven Sages).
The special features of this idol as
described by Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale
‘Spiritual emotion is evoked in idols only on looking at them at a particular angle. On the other hand spiritual emotion is evoked on looking at this idol of Shri Siddhivinayak with Riddhi and Siddhi, from any angle.’ – Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale
The sculptor of this idol of Shri Siddhivinayak with Riddhi and Siddhi
Mr. Vivekanand (Nanda) Achari alias Guruji (aged 80), a sculptor from Shirwad (North Kanara District) near Karwar in the state of Karnataka, has sculpted this idol from a single marble weighing 700 kilograms. Guruji, a very detached person is a devotee of Shri Ganesh and has performed this seva forgetting himself. Till date he has sculpted more than 1000 idols. He has immense faith in and spiritual emotion for Paratpar Guru (Dr.) Athavale. He has the ability to perceive which Deity can be sculpted from a piece of marble merely by touching it because His Guru has blessed him saying ‘you will be able to sculpt whatever idol you want from the stone that you touch’. His son, Mr. Gajanan Achari too contributed a great deal towards this idol.
Any sculptor would take at least a year to create such an idol but Guruji with his painstaking efforts completed it within just a fortnight. During this process as told by Guruji Shri Ganapati appeared in his dream several times and advised on changes to be made in the idol. What is amazing is that the very next day he would receive exactly the same instructions for changes in the idol, from a Saint from Sanatan Sanstha. Another speciality of Guruji is that considering that this idol of Shri Siddhivinayak was his responsibility he came to the Sanatan ashram to hand it over personally. (Generally the sculptor delivers the idol to the client at the place where it is sculpted.) He has created this beautiful idol with painstaking efforts and offered it to Sanatan Sanstha.
