Ponda (Goa) – During cross-examination of the hearing of a case in which Sanatan Sanstha has filed a defamation suit against the Andha Shraddha Nirmulan newsletter, in the High bench of the Civil Court, P.R. Arde, the editor of this newsletter for several years gave the statement that the Sanatan Sanstha Goa is imparting spiritual education and that he respected it. In fact, he admitted that he does not oppose it. The cross-examination in the case which is going on since 2008 was done by the Sanstha Sanstha’s advocate Mr. Nagesh Joshi (Takbhate). The conversation which ensued between them is given further.
Advocate Joshi : You have published a special issue against Sanatan Sanstha. Hence the question, what do you know about Sanatan Sanstha ?
Arde : I know nothing about the newsletter published against Sanatan Sanstha. I have seen Sanatan Sanstha’s Ashram in Ramnathi in Goa from outside, but have not entered it. I have not read its Trust deed.
Advocate Joshi : Do you believe in ghosts and demons ?
Arde : No, but I admit that still I have sketched a picture of a demon on the front page of the Andhashraddha Nirmulan newsletter. We do not oppose the philosophy of Sanatan Sanstha we only have difference of opinion. I am not against Sanatan Sanstha Goa. I know that it is imparting spiritual education and I respect it.
