Take action against Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmulan Samiti which has connections with Naxals – Chetan Rajhans, Sanatan Sanstha

CBI and SIT are carrying out investigation of the Dabholkar-Pansare murder case from past 6 years; however, not a single investigation agency could find even an iota of evidence about the involvement of Sanatan Sanstha. Samir Gaikwad who was arrested in Com. Pansare’s murder case had to be released on bail after 19 months. Similarly, the investigation agencies could not find any evidence against Dr. Tawde even after 3 years, so that atleast one hearing can take place in the court. The entire investigation is in a mess, considering the ever-changing accused, masterminds and scripts. Therefore, Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmulan Samiti (MANS) does not have the moral courage to allow both the cases to be heard in the court. MANS has adopted a tactic to prolong the cases by bringing stays on the cases instead of initiating their hearing.

Now, since ’20th August’ is approaching near, MANS has demanded action against Paratpar Guru (Dr) Jayant Athavale, the Founder of Sanatan Sanstha. This demand of MANS is out of its irrational attitude to insist that truth is only what they claim and the accused is at whom they point the finger. So far, MANS had no faith in the investigation agencies; and now, they have lost faith in the Court also. If the history of Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmulan Samiti is studied, their activists have been arrested for participating in Naxal activities. Their FCRA recognition has been cancelled due to infringement of the FCRA Act. The name of MANS appears in the list of organizations (prepared by the Home Ministry) that supports Naxalites. Therefore, action needs to be taken against the Naxal supporter MANS itself, said Chetan Rajhans, Spokesperson of Sanatan Sanstha.

The MANS uses a reverse method of investigation. They first identify the culprit and then gather evidences against him. While demanding action against Sanatan, Avinash Patil of MANS had made an irresponsible statement that ‘The Chief Minister of Maharashtra does not even feel ashamed’. Why didn’t deaf and dumb Avinash Patil feel ashamed when the arms smugglers Manish Nagori and Vikas Khandelwal who were arrested in Dabholkar’s murder case were released on bail ? Why did he not feel ashamed when MANS collected Foreign funds without Government’s permission, illegally collected funds from schools under the pretext of ‘Scientific temperaments’, the Charity Commissioner recommended to appoint Administrator on the MANS Trust ?, were questions raised by Chetan Rajhans, Spokesperson, Sanatan Sanstha.
