Extreme adverse conditions manifest during disasters like floods, earthquakes, riots, world wars etc. In such situations, incidents of mass destruction, fires and scattered dead bodies can be seen everywhere. Seeing or hearing such incidents, many suffer from mental instability, stress, anxiety, fear, inability to accept the situation, etc.

To progress in sadhana (Spiritual practice), it is necessary to have bhav (Spiritual emotion) for God. For generation of bhav, dissolution of the mind and a sattvik (Sattva-predominant) intellect are absolutely essential.
When bhav (Spiritual emotion) is awakened in a jiva, it gradually thinks more about God than itself. That is why, the existence of the self is slowly forgotten and actions as per God’s expectations are performed.
Krutadnyata (Gratitude) is an expression of thanksgiving to God. When this expression is maintained all the time, it is called krutadnyatabhav (Spiritual emotion of gratitude).
