Sanatan Sanstha has challenged Facebook’s action of unpublishing its pages in Bombay HC. Sanstha said, ‘Facebook’s action is a violation of freedom of expression. It does not follow any legal procedure and is a blow to the authority of Central Government. It is also a violation of fundamental rights of Indian citizens

Facebook suspends Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s Hindi page too

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Sanatan Prabhat and Sanatan Sanstha have sought an explanation from Facebook after the latter removed Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s ‘Hindu Adhiveshan’, Sanatan Prabhat’s ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ and ‘Sanatan Shop’ pages without citing any reason. However, Facebook has still not responded to the mails.

Indian Metrological Department (IMD) has warned of ‘Yaas’ cyclone after a trail of destruction by ‘Tauktae’. The Yass cyclone would hit eastern sea coast of India, mostly affecting Bengal and Orissa States. The cyclone may hit Bengal on 25th May and Orissa by 26th May.
