‘सरसः अवती’ (‘SarasahaAwati’) means one who provides knowledge with consistent speed, that is, one who provides momentum.
Saraswatilok is a sub-region of the Brahmalok. Both the tarak and marak forms of ShriSaraswatidevi are in the Sagunlok of Brahmalok.
A good devotee of Shri Saraswati Devi is one who tries to grasp Her Divine Functions, and also strives to imbibe the qualities necessary to become Her devotee.
Since Sri Saraswati is the main functional Deity for Sustenance, she is closer to Srivishnu (Srikrushna), the Deity of Sustenance.
