Dr. Durgesh Samant, national spokesperson for HJS (standing, next to the Governor in the center), showing Husain’s denigrating paintings to the Governor and updating the Governor on the sheer volume of agitations carried out by HJS in protest of Husain. Dr. Samant informed that despite 923 police complaints, 265 written statements to Government officers, 77 protest rallies and some public strikes, the Government has taken no action against Husain.
