Protest against denigration of Deities by Daily 'Tarun Bharat'

Heretic 'Times of India' denigrates Lord Ram and Maruti!

Protest against denigration of Deities by Daily 'Tarun Bharat'

Akola (Maharashtra) -
'Tarun Bharat', a daily in Vidarbha that champions the cause of Hindutva has committed rank denigration of Hindu Deities in its Economics supplement, Akola edition of 2nd June 2008. By giving dialogues to the Deities on a topic of economics, the objects of Hindu faith have been grossly misused for sheer entertainment. (Since Hindus are dead passive, their objects of faith are considered a matter of entertainment. To change this sorry state of affairs, there is no alternative but to launch Dharmakranti! - Editor)
The derogatory dialogues are between Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Saraswati in which Goddess Lakshmi asks, "What is GDP?" Goddess Saraswati replies in English. (The English language is raja-tama predominant. Showing the Deities speak in English is in itself a deliberate attempt to harm the Hindu faith! - Editor)

Goddess Lakshmi says, "O Saraswati! You are speaking in English!" Goddess Saraswati replies, "English is an offspring of our Arya language. The other languages like Sanskrut, Greek, Latin, European and Bharatiya languages were produced from the Arya language only. (This is an outrageous discovery of Tarun Bharat! Sanskrut is a language of Gods. It is not produced from any other language. English, other European and Bharatiya languages were produced from Sanskrut. When this is as true as sunlight, why is the daily publishing wrong information, and which is an assault on Bharatiya ethos? We strongly protest against this! - Editor) Goddess Lakshmi then asks for the GDP to be explained in language of equations, which Goddess Saraswati does. Hindus here are saying that, "Now the daily Tarun Bharat has lost the faith of most Hindus."
Protest against this with: Tarun Bharat Office, Gadgil Niwas, Vandaniya Mavashi Kelkar Marg, Swarajya Peth, Akola, Maharashtra; Tel. No. (0724) 2436277; email : tbakola@rediffmail.com

Heretic 'Times of India' denigrates Lord Ram and Maruti!

Pune -
In a cartoon, 'Times of India' showed Lord Ram and Maruti looking at the Ram Setu in surprise, with Lord Ram saying, "I don't know, why they keep insisting I built a bridge when everyone knows there was a perfectly good ferry service to Lanka."
Mr. Vikram Dongre from Ahmednagar registered a protest with the newspaper. However, the newspaper gave no response. When 'Dainik Sanatan Prabhat' published this news Mr. Varkhedkar of Pandharpur was inspired to file a complaint with the Police against the concerned people of TOI for hurting the religious feelings of Hindus through the cartoon.
(Let us hope Hindus from other areas will take a clue from Mr. Varkhedkar's action and likewise become pro-active! - Editor)
